Peter Hernon

Peter Hernon has written five books, including “Under the Influence: The Unauthorized Story of the Anheuser-Busch Dynasty” (co-author), a New York Times best-seller. His most recent book, “The Great Rescue: American Heroes, an Iconic Ship, and the Race to Save Europe in WWI,” was released in June 2017. He is a former editor for the Chicago Tribune and a former investigative reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He and his wife currently live in Dardenne Prairie, not far from Daniel Boone’s final homestead.
