Amy Ash is the author of “The Open Mouth of the Vase,” winner of the 2013 Cider Press Review Book Award and the 2016 Etchings Press Whirling Prize post-publication award for poetry. Her work has been published in various journals and anthologies, including “Mid-American Review,” “Harpur Palate,” and “Salamander.” She is an assistant professor of English and Director of Creative Writing at Indiana State University. She is a contributor to “They Said: A Multi-Genre Anthology of Contemporary Collaborative Writing,” published by Black Lawrence Press in June 2018.
