Ann Ingalls is from Cleveland and worked as a teacher, in factories manufacturing cars, selling shoes and greeting cards, and making doughnuts and ice cream before taking up writing. When she’s not writing, she likes to read, play cards, go for long walks, ride her bike and travel. She is the author of “Fairy Floss: The Sweet Story of Cotton Candy.” She now lives in Kansas City, and has three lovely children with her husband, Winston.
