MK Stallings is a poet and founder of UrbArts, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create platforms and platform creatives for youth and community development. He serves as the program director for UrbArts Youth Poetry Slam and festival director for VerbQuake. Additionally, he’s on the planning committee for Brick City Poetry Festival scheduled for Oct. 19-22.
